Mr. Cheley is the founder and owner of Graphtek Interactive
Mr. Cheley received his college education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Graphic Communications. An entrepreneur from an early age Mr. Cheley has been a founding partner in two regional design firms and a regional advertising agency. In his thirty year career his clients have include Waste Management, Marriott, KSL Land Company, Avery Denison, Sam Ash Music, Scripto Pens, Supplies Guys, Screenmobile, Kent Landsberg Company, Metagenics, Avalon Shutters, Inland Empire Health Plan, Sunrise Company, SunWorld, Clienteligence and leading IBM business partners Crossview, NetSphere Strategies, e-Global Solutions, Trifecta, RipeVine, Dempsey/Bluevar and Globalogic in addition to dozens of local municipalities, developers, resorts and manufactures.
Mr. Cheley has lectured to business and organizations on the subjects of branding, internet marketing, and user interface design. When not working he enjoys wine tasting and collecting, wood working and biking. Mike has two sons, two step sons and three grand daughters and is married to his wife and business partner Nona.
Kate Spates
President
Kate is community-minded and has always taken a keen interest in the growth and development of the desert. A desert resident since 1980, she is a graduate of Palm Springs High School, College of the Desert as well as California State University San Bernardino, Palm Desert Campus.
In 1996, her entrepreneurial spirit and love of technology led her to form WebSites 2000. In 2005, her company, was bestowed the honor of Small Business of the Year in the 64th District of California by Assemblyman John Benoit. In 2006, she graduated from the prestigious Leadership Coachella Valley program where emerging leaders are chosen to participate based upon their commitment to the community and desire to assume a greater responsibility. Later that year, she changed the name of her company to Image Marketing Concepts "Because we are so much more than web", she states. Now serving over 200 clients worldwide, Kate serves as President of the rapidly expanding company whose key business philosophy and day-to-day operations revolve around "Your image is everything."
Kate has assisted local charities such as the Bob Hope Classic, United Way of the Desert, Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity Coachella Valley by creating a powerful web presence for them. She serves on the Auxiliary board for the Shelter From The Storm and is the immediate past President of Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley.
An avid golfer, Kate is a past Board Member for the Executive Women's Golf Association and enjoys golf with her husband of 17 years, Brent. Along with growing her business ventures, Kate grew her family in 2002 when she gave birth to twin daughters, Abby and Cassidy.
Nona Solowitz, CPA
CFO
Nona Solowitz began her professional career as an entrepreneur and now has come full circle. She started as a successful small business owner and went on to become a senior accountant at a large CPA firm, director of finance and administration for an internationally known film festival and executive director of the largest synagogue in the Coachella Valley.
Prior to founding Nona S. Solowitz, CPA, Nona spent six years directing all business and administrative functions at Temple Sinai, Palm Desert, CA, where she served as executive director. She was responsible for all financial activities in accordance with not-for-profit accounting standards including preparation of financial reports for internal and external use; membership development and marketing; supplier negotiations; and coordination, analyzation and maintenance of all departments' budgets. She supervised 10 full-time and 15 part-time employees.
Before taking that position, she served for five years as the Director of Finance and Administration for the highly regarded Palm Springs International Film Festival, Palm Springs, CA. She was responsible for oversight of all financial activities and administrative functions, as well as managing employees and hundreds of volunteers.
Earlier in her career, she was the manager/owner of a business in Palm Springs, CA, the Village Bake Shop and Deli, Inc. In addition to overseeing daily operations and full-charge bookkeeping responsibilities, she managed a staff of 15.
Nona has two sons and two step sons and is married to Mike. She enjoys cooking, decorating, exercising and watching "Dancing with the Stars", the only TV she watches.

Evy Hanson has a BA in marketing and over 15 years experience in marketing and advertising. During her time in Europe she implemented successful marketing plans for a wide range of clients such as Scandinavian Airlines and Helly Hansen Sports Apparel. In 2000 Evy relocated to the Coachella Valley and soon established herself as a leader in the local advertising community. From 2003 - 2006 she functioned as Director of Production & Creative Services at PMA Advertising in Palm Springs, leading the design team in creating cohesive campaigns for inland and desert communities in a time where the building industry was booming. She has since developed marketing campaigns and materials for local businesses such as Palm Springs Women in Film & Television, The Weil Institute of Critical Care, Olive Crest, The City of Rancho Mirage and the Kraft Nabisco Golf Championship.
Evy has a wide network of professional alliances that ensures that she is always tapped into the local business community. One of her key strengths is understanding each clients unique marketing needs and ensuring that our creative and project management team always strive for excellence.
In her spare time Evy enjoys playing tennis with her husband and hiking with her family. She resides in Palm Desert with her husband and two children, William and Emme.
Karen J. Pelletier
Marketing Consultant
Karen has spent the last 30 years in consumer packaged goods and telecommunications, both as a marketer and entrepreneur. She has worked for Ameritech (now AT&T) as Director of New Applications, and for Frito-Lay and Kraft on established brands, new products, strategy and acquisitions. Karen has substantial experience in salty snacks, sauces and condiments, pasta, ethnic food, “healthy” foods, prepared foods (frozen and dry packaged), pet foods, and telecommunications services.
Karen Partnered with Graphtek Interactive in January of 2011 to provide her demonstrable expertise in consumer marketing, new product development, Internet marketing, project management, business analysis.
Karen holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago and currently is a Principal at Karen Pelletier Marketing Consulting – specializing in strategy, brand marketing, content & Internet marketing.
